Upcoming Hike (Saturday, December 12th from 10:00am to 3:00pm)

Three Gun Spring Canyon 

Meet at the ACS Parking Lot at 10:00am

Here are the directions to the Three Gun Trail head. The trail is about 3 miles round trip. There might be some snow up there so please let everyone know to bring a light to medium coat, also if there is no snow on the ground the kids can go into the creak beds with magnets and pick up some metal that is in the sand form the rocks.

Access to this property is through a residential neighborhood. Please respect out neighbors. Take I-40 to the Carnuel exit, get on the frontage road (Old Route 66), head east to the Monticello Subdivision, there will be a small brown and white Forest Service sign for Three Gun Spring, make a right, go about 2 miles, make a left, take the second right and this will end at the trail head. The trail head is actually on Forest Service land.
